Job Purpose: |
The Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day management and operation of this emergency accommodation provision in accordance with Mid West Simon Communities appropriate guidelines, policies & procedures and in line with best practice. The manager is required to establish and maintain an appropriate atmosphere conducive to the welfare and wellbeing of those accommodated, to motivate and lead a professional team of staff, and to liaise effectively with other voluntary and statutory agencies. There will be a strong focus on supporting people to exit homelessness in the shortest possible timeframe. The post holder will lead and motivate a team of staff, volunteers and CE Workers, ensuring that the service provided through Mid-West Simon Community is high quality, and responsive to the needs of Individuals accessing the service. The post-holder will promote the Mid West Simon Community’s vision, principles and objectives. |
