We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Annual Fundraising Ball will be held at the Limerick Strand Hotel on Saturday, September 28th at 6:30 pm. The MWS Community Annual Fundraising Ball aims to unite the community in supporting our crucial work in aiding homeless men, women, and children. It is an excellent opportunity for companies to promote their brand to a high-profile audience.

Following the success of last year’s event, table reservations are already pouring in. All proceeds will directly benefit our charity’s services, providing vital assistance to those facing homelessness in Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary.

The Mid West Simon Community Annual Ball plays a vital role in fundraising for our organisation, with all proceeds going directly to supporting our services that offer invaluable assistance to those impacted by homelessness in the Mid West Area.

This year, the annual ball will raise funds for the Mid West Simon Community Social Grocery project. This initiative aims to tackle food poverty in our community enhancing their access to nutritious food and providing a comprehensive and empowering service. The proposed store on Henry Street in Limerick City will operate as a social enterprise, offering groceries at significantly reduced prices. Moreover, it will empower clients by granting them autonomy and choice, which are often lacking in conventional food banks.

Furthermore, we will provide various skills and training courses, money management workshops, advice and information services, as well as cooking and food skills classes. These initiatives are intended to assist individuals in moving toward a self-sustainable future and improving financial stability. Our goal is to launch the Social Grocery in 2024.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the local and multinational companies whose support has been instrumental in making our Annual Fundraising Ball a success and sustaining our services for those in need.

Beyond the glitz, raffle prizes, and delicious food, the Annual Fundraising Ball offers over 250 guests a night to remember and instills hope in those who require it the most.
